Alex Novarro

Alex Novarro is Director of Nature at Trellis, where he empowers business leaders to value, protect and restore natural ecosystems. He co-leads Bloom, an annual event focused on corporate nature strategies and actions, leads the Trellis Network Nature community, and develops biodiversity- and water-focused content for Trellis events and digital media products. Alex has served as a scientist, land steward, and conservation leader for 15 years. Prior to joining Trellis, he was Director of Stewardship & Ecological Management for The Nature Conservancy. He holds a Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of Maryland and a BS in Environmental Science from SUNY Brockport.
