Barbara Grady is a contributing writer to GreenBiz. She recently retired from Ceres where she was Senior Manager of Communications, leading development of communications strategy and content for Ceres' Investor Network and Ceres' Company Network. She created messaging and opportunities to urge private sector action on climate, provided writing and editing support to executives, interacted with the press and produced newsletters. Prior to her six years at Ceres, she was a senior writer at GreenBiz. Earlier, she was a news reporter for several news organizations including Reuters and the Oakland Tribune and won national, regional and state journalism awards.
