Claudia Herbert Colfer

Claudia is the United Nations Global Compact Network USA's Head of Programming. In this role, she develops and leads programs and initiatives that help over 1,000 American companies do business responsibly. She manages Network USA's four accelerator programs and other relevant sustainability initiatives.Before joining UN Global Compact Network USA, Claudia worked at Bain & Company, the International Chamber of Commerce, and the United States Council for International Business. Claudia is also the Founder & CEO of Wasi (an iOS app that helped users volunteer from the comfort of their own homes during the COVID-19 pandemic) and a Founding Member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Queens Hub.Claudia was recently selected to the Environment + Energy 100, GreenBiz 30 Under 30, and Forbes 30 Under 30 lists. She holds a BSc in Politics and International Relations from the University of Bath, a MA in Global Governance and International Diplomacy from Columbia University, and a MSc in Sustainability, Enterprise and Environment from the University of Oxford.
