Emily Beagle is an associate in the Breakthrough Technologies program at RMI, where she works to understand and advance the deployment of new technologies in hard-to-abate sectors.
Prior to joining RMI, Emily served as an ASME Science and Technology Policy Fellow working on the energy and environment legislative team for Senator Tina Smith. She has a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, and her dissertation research assessed new conversion methods and characterized biomass waste feedstocks for energy-sector emissions reductions. After graduate school, she was a CLIR Postdoctoral Fellow in data curation for energy economics at the University of Texas at Austin.
