Ian McKee

Ian McKee is the president and co-founder of Carrot, a  foundation building a collaborative global platform for issuing digitally verified carbon credits from the circular economy. Carrot is leading a coalition to tackle biowaste methane emissions at landfills by funding new composting and anaerobic digestion infrastructure globally. McKee has launched and led prior large-scale sustainability projects, including green building certification of the Brazil 2014 World Cup stadiums as well as the digitization of the first Zero Waste Bar and Restaurant network in the world. He’s an accredited TRUE Zero Waste Advisor and he began his career in finance at Goldman Sachs Sales & Trading in New York.
