
Janine Kubert
Janine Kubert is director of operations at iReuse, a sustainability consulting and software company founded in 2005 that serves organizations interested in reducing their operational costs and environmental impact. With more than 10 years of experience in CSR and sustainability, Janine has consulted on sustainability strategy and implementation, green building initiatives, product lifecycle analysis and marketing communications for clients such as Kaiser Permanente, eBay, Wal-Mart, SF Environment, United Way and the Environmental Protection Agency. Janine also served as the executive director for the Business Council on Climate Change (BC3), a membership organization of Bay Area businesses that are committed to taking action on climate change, where she led forums on carbon accounting, climate policy, green building, energy efficiency and water conservation. Prior to her work in CSR and sustainability, Janine was a creative director for software and online services companies. She is a 1989 cum laude graduate of Boston University and earned a Master in Business Administration from the Presidio School of Management in 2008. Janine is also an Accredited Professional of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating Program. Her other professional affiliations include: Leadership San Francisco, a Chamber of Commerce program that develops future community leaders for the city of San Francisco; and Emerge, a political leadership training program for women in the Bay Area.
