Joe Cahill

Joe Cahill is Chief Customer Officer of the Project Management Institute (PMI), a global association for project professionals. As chief customer officer, he is responsible for all of PMI's Global Customer Group. He oversees the global customer engagement team, the global customer experience team and PMI's eight geographic regions. He previously held the positions of COO, interim CEO and SVP of finance and administration in his time with PMI. He has over 20 years of senior leadership experience including digital transformation, strategic planning, enterprise system implementation and new business development. Across technology, manufacturing and energy sectors, he has effectively helped build companies and lead change in large organizations. He also serves as a U.N. Global Compact Network USA board member, representing NGOs, to help drive initiatives that further UNGC's mission and purpose. Prior to joining PMI, he served as chief financial officer for Priton, UgMO Technologies and Gamesa Technology Corp., and served as finance director for Unisys Corporation. He is a graduate of Saint Joseph's University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance and received an MBA with a concentration in international business from Villanova University.
