Environmental Auditing Services

One member writes, "We have 3 facilities, 2 in AZ and 1 in Mexico, that are due for environmental compliance audits for 14001 re-certification. Our logistics team has had bad luck finding a firm/person that will do the audits and provide the gap report with all the updated regulations needed for compliance. They are experiencing a lack of responsiveness. Do any of our members work in this space or can members recommend a firm or person to help us?" Read More

Are you a TCFD Supporter?

One member asks, "Have any members signed on or considered signing on as TCFD supporter? Signing on doesn’t seem to require anything more than making a public statement of support for TCFD recommended disclosures and being named on their website. It doesn’t look like a large number of US companies have done so, but there are some very big organizations that have signed on. Any insights folks can share on why they did or did not sign on would be helpful." Read More

Excess Branded Corporate Apparel

One member asks, "We have thousands of t-shirts with old brands/logos that cannot go into circulation. (Meaning we can’t just donate them—they have to be destroyed.) Does anyone know of an apparel recycler we can donate to? (or even pay to have the material recycled?). It just guts me that we can’t donate these shirts for legal reasons because the brands are old. First world problems." Read More

One member asks, "Has anyone explored or found a solution for donation of excess COVID PPE? Are there still NGOs in need of PPE? Are there options for recycling and avoiding the landfill for excess PPE?" Read More

Return to the Office or Work from Home?

GBEN members recently met to discuss their employers’ strategies during the almost twenty months of the COVID-19 pandemic. Most companies have segmented policies across three distinct groups: manufacturing and other frontline workers, sales and business development associates, and corporate staff or office workers.
