Osborne leads the global strategy and operations for large diesel, gas and alternative fuel generator sets, integrated power systems and aftermarket services under the Cat^® and MWM brands. With over 27 years of cross-functional leadership at Caterpillar – including engineering, marketing, procurement and product management – Rich brings a uniquely holistic perspective to the energy industry. A University of Illinois graduate in Agricultural Engineering, he combines technical rigor with strategic vision, empowering global teams to deliver innovative, customer-focused power solutions. Outside of work, Rich is a dedicated father, community volunteer and motorsports enthusiast, embodying servant leadership in both his professional and personal life.
