Russell Mendell

Prior to joining RMI, Russell Mendell was the campaign director of the youth-led environmental nonprofit Earth Guardians. He contributed to two books, "We Rise: The Earth Guardians Guide to Building a Movement That Restores the Planet" and "Imaginary Borders," both authored by Xiuhtezcatl Martinez. His reporting from COP21 in Paris was recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists for excellence in environment enterprise reporting.
