T. Shawn Taylor

Shawn Taylor’s journalism career spans the Midwest, with the bulk of it spent at the Chicago Tribune, where she worked as a copy editor, reporter and column writer. In 2006, she founded Treetop Consulting, a boutique media consulting business. Shawn has earned a reputation as a master storyteller, developing content for individuals and organizations around social justice; gender and racial equality; workforce; education; healthcare; and economic development/entrepreneurship. She is co-author of "The Girlfriend’s Guide to Closing the Deal" (220 Publishing, September 2019) and of "As the Wicked Watch" (Harper Collins/William Morrow, October 2021), her first fiction work with Emmy-winning journalist and television host Tamron Hall.
