Tim Brown

Tim Brown, founder and CEO of Tradewater, leads the B Corp in combating climate change by
capturing and destroying powerful greenhouse gases like halocarbons and
methane—eliminating over 10.6 million metric tons of CO₂ equivalent to date. This approach
turns overlooked emissions into immediate, scalable impact, offering a fast, results-driven path
to slow global warming today while complementing long-term carbon mitigation strategies.
With over 40 years in carbon programs and environmental work, he directs all business areas
and spearheads the development of new programs and markets to expand Tradewater's
mission and impact. Tim also founded Wabashco, co-founded the Delta Institute, held
leadership roles at major environmental organizations, and has served on several boards,
bringing deep expertise and dedication to every endeavor.
