Greetings,

Happy new year. Ready to kick off 2025? We’re on it with three great virtual meetings next week, some upcoming in-person meetings (a full schedule will be published later this month), and an opportunity to share with your networks. But first, a chance to offer up tips to the community.

1. Creating Great Sustainability Reports. Trellis Editor-at-Large Jim Giles is asking sustainability leaders to share the tactics and strategies they use to create great sustainability reports. Our four-question survey will take about 20 mins to complete. We’re looking for 10 respondents, all of whom will be thanked in person when we post the results on LinkedIn.
   
2. Supply Chain: January 7 (virtual) – A Framework for Practitioners Developing Supply Chain Strategies for Their Unique Industries. We’re re-launching our Supply Chain community with a visit from Ian Olson, the Executive in Residence for Supply Chain Resiliency at Michigan State University. Over the past five years he has been teaching Supply Chain Sustainability at Northwestern University. 3. Europe Community: January 8 (virtual, 3pm CET, 9am ET) – 2025 in Focus: Balancing Compliance & Stakeholder Motivation. Kick off the year with an interactive discussion on your top priorities, and discover strategies to keep your direct team and key stakeholders across the company engaged in sustainability initiatives, as compliance remains a focus area for many. 4. North America: January 9 (virtual noon PT, 3PM ET) – Plans and Strategies for 2025. Members share their plans and strategies for the upcoming year. Chatham house rule as always. You can register here or use the direct Zoom link on the day of here.
   
5. January 16, 2025: In-person Meeting, Newark, CA. We’re excited to hold our first in-person meeting of 2025 at Orora Packaging Solutions’ Design Lab. In addition to the tour of the la, we’ll be discussing:

   • What’s Ahead in 2025
   • Scope 3 Supplier Engagement Plans
   • Reporting Strategies for 2025 and Beyond

6. New Date! Join us for a meeting in Paris, France on March 17-18, hosted by Schneider Electric.
   
7. CIRCOR, in the industrial/manufacturing industry, is hiring a Director of Sustainability and Energy Management. The role is global in nature, with intent to have the person based out of Radolfzell, Germany. This newly created and high-profile role will oversee the development, implementation, and management of an energy efficiency program in an industrial manufacturing/plant setting across numerous sites across the globe. This leader will also play a key role partnering with leaders from across CIRCOR to oversee sustainability data collection, reporting and compliance with related regulations in the EU and beyond.
