Adriana Shu-Yin

Project Manager
CSA Group
29 years old

Adriana Shu-Yin co-led the development of Canada’s first standards for plastics recycling, including a 23-person multi-stakeholder technical committee that defined them.

This was in her role as a project manager at CSA Group, a sustainability standards organization, where she is responsible for the development of five bi-national standards for reusable packaging systems, advancing a reuse economy that could cut packaging production by 90 percent and emissions by 80 percent. Through CSA’s Sustainable Development Goals Initiative, she led the change management and training to identify more than 1,000 standards aligned with the United Nations.

Shu-Yin studied environmental science as an undergrad.
