Alexandra Kornberger

Alexandra Kornberger is part of Nasdaq’s corporate sustainability strategy and reporting team and global co-lead of its employee green team. She leads environmental reporting, leveraging data-driven insights to inform climate strategy and identify opportunities to reduce emissions.

Kornberger helped create a program to help Nasdaq gather more granular product-level emissions data from suppliers, which contributed to a 24 percent decline in purchased goods and services emissions and progress towards Nasdaq’s validated science-based targets.

She has led Nasdaq’s CDP Climate disclosure process for the past three years, contributing to the company’s A-List status in 2025. 

Kornberger, recently selected for Nasdaq’s high-potential leadership development program, was also responsible for the migration of the company’s employee commuting survey into its Workday software application, which tripled participation to 60 percent and helped drive a 22 percent decline in commuting emissions.
