Azam Khan

Azam Khan deployed software and data collection tools for the Aldi US sustainability team that support certificate management, supply chain traceability, emissions tracking, packaging initiatives and food waste reduction.

His work supports Aldi’s initiative to trace more than 20 high-risk supply chains as part of the grocery chain’s plan to eliminate deforestation and land conversion, reduce food and operational waste by 75 percent by the end of 2025, manage package recyclability and achieve net zero by 2030. Prior to Khan’s project, data collection was managed manually.

Khan was previously a senior associate with KPMG’s ESG advisory services, where he assisted clients across 10 industries with reporting and strategy work.
