Elizabeth (Lizzy) Noble
Lizzy Noble is working on addressing the supplier climate footprint of Bechtel, one of the world’s largest construction companies.
In the last five years, she trained 75 percent of Bechtel’s supply chain organizations on how they were impacting Scope 3 emissions and estimated the emissions of transactions with more than 8,000 suppliers and subcontractors. Her latest work: piloting three programs to measure subcontractor, supplier and logistics emissions using supplier-specific data.
Nobel has guided initiatives across five Bechtel offices to identify decarbonization opportunities; she created Bechtel’s “Plastic Free July Campaign” in 2020, which had 500 employee participants in 19 locations. She has undergraduate degrees in supply chain and sustainability.
