Ian Lin

Ian Lin leads the global sustainability data and analytics workstream across more than 130 properties managed by Four Seasons. He helped build the hospitality company’s environmental tracking system from the ground up, covering energy, carbon, water and waste — enabling enterprise environmental tracking for the first time.

In 2025, that work helped Four Seasons cut energy use by 2.8 percent and reduce emissions for operations and purchased electricity by 3.3 percent from a year earlier. Lin also became the first chair of the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance’s Youth Advisory Council, gathering young sustainability leaders from Marriott, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Radisson and other major hospitality brands.

Before Four Seasons, Lin led the B Corporation recertification process for apparel company tentree, helping it secure a six-figure grant for plant-fiber and reforestation research.
