Jessica Mi
Jessica Mi leads carbon accounting and cross-functional decarbonization initiatives at design software company Autodesk, with a focus on the growing impact of cloud computing and artificial intelligence. She developed Autodesk’s methodology for measuring its cloud carbon footprint and works closely with engineering teams to connect sustainability with operational decisions.
Her analysis quantified $2 million of cloud efficiency savings, including 135 metric tons of avoided carbon dioxide equivalent emissions, helping engineers understand the climate benefits of cloud optimization. Mi also leads efforts to assess emissions associated with AI tools as their use expands across Autodesk, building relationships with technical teams and managing data and methodologies to measure an emerging emissions source.
Mi also supports Autodesk’s renewable electricity program, managing the operations of two virtual power purchase agreements and directly procuring unbundled renewable electricity. Together, these contracts delivered 39,050 megawatt-hours of renewable electricity globally in 2025, fulfilling Autodesk’s commitment to match all of its electricity consumption with renewables.
