Lina Daniel
Lina Daniel develops energy strategies for office, retail and data center portfolios at commercial real estate firm Jones Lang LaSalle, where she works on the account for financial services company Capital One. In her role, Daniel leads financial analysis for energy projects, which include heating, ventilation and air-conditioning upgrades and equipment retrofits that advance Capital One’s long-term sustainability goals.
From 2024 to 2026, Daniel led sustainability programs for JLL client Amazon, covering more than 30 million square feet of real estate across more than 300 facilities worldwide.
For Amazon, she piloted 12 waste prevention initiatives, helping increase waste diversion rates by 10 percent annually through composting programs, waste audits, durable dishware adoption and improved waste tracking dashboards. One project achieved a more than 85 percent volume reduction over 13 weeks, diverting organics from landfill and providing a scalable model for sites that lack local composting infrastructure.
