Maggie Hammond
Maggie Hammond manages sustainable supply chain initiatives at TransUnion, overseeing work on emissions categories that represent about 70 percent of the credit reporting agency’s carbon footprint.
Hammond led development of TransUnion’s first comprehensive Scope 3 inventory in 2025, establishing a baseline for the company’s most material emissions sources. This year, she expanded the collection of supplier-specific data, improving emissions accuracy for about 10 percent of TransUnion’s suppliers and strengthening the quality of the company’s disclosures.
Beyond her emissions measurement activities, Hammond co-developed ESG supplier risk criteria and integrated them into more than 20 risk management reviews. She developed and delivered training on sustainable procurement practices for more than 60 professionals on TransUnion’s procurement team.
As events chair of Green@TU, an inclusion and belong group, Hammond organized TransUnion’s inaugural Earth Day cleanup and launched a reusable mug program that reduced cup waste by approximately 85 percent.
