Michelle Pawlow
Michelle Pawlow spearheads ESG strategy at health supplement brand AG1, owning its ingredient traceability program and accountability toward the 2030 goal of tracing 100 percent of ingredients back to origin.
Through those initiatives, Pawlow scaled AG1’s traceability insights to 90 percent of the more than 75 ingredients used in its supplements and embedded ESG criteria into AG1’s supplier contracts. In addition, she migrated the company’s cocoa sourcing to a farm-level model that pays growers a livable income and is verified to eliminate deforestation.
Pawlow also secured funding through the Rodale Institute to support three farms transitioning to the Regenerative Organic Certified standard, sequestering soil carbon and building long-term climate resilience in farmland. She’s added real-life farmers’ faces in AG1’s Farm to Label campaign.
In her previous role at Anheuser-Busch InBev, Pawlow led a low-carbon aluminum sourcing strategy that cut projected emissions by 74 percent and developed a global barley reclamation strategy that saved 380,000 metric tons of waste annually.
