Submission Guidelines

What We Look For

Submissions are evaluated for their direct value to our primary audience—corporate climate, nature, and finance professionals.

We look for:

  • Relevance to Tracks: The best submissions relate to our key topics and themes:
    • Transition Planning & Finance: Strategies, tools, and evolving best practices to plan for and mobilize capital on corporate decarbonization goals.
    • Corporate Reporting & Disclosure: Navigating the evolving landscape of sustainability disclosure and its implications for capital markets and corporate finance.
    • Climate-Aligned Investment: Strategies and approaches to allocate capital toward climate solutions while managing risks and generating returns across asset classes.
    • Commercial Impact: Integrating sustainability into corporate strategy and demonstrating its financial value to stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Practical Insights: Case studies showcasing successful strategies, interactive workshops providing hands-on experience, and updates on relevant technologies, finance, and policies.
  • Targeted Expertise: We prioritize content from experts actively mobilizing capital for climate solutions and integrating sustainability into financial decision-making. We consider submissions from service and technology providers. If you are a service provider, including clients from your primary audience, particularly those less represented at our events, will be advantageous.

What We Value

  • Fresh and Convergent Content: Sessions should introduce the latest trends and innovative approaches that accelerate climate solutions, focusing on systemic and interconnected issues.
  • Case Studies and Best Practices: We aim to facilitate learning from both successes and setbacks, smoothing the path for others to follow.
  • Creativity and Interactivity: We encourage sessions that broaden perspectives, foster new thinking, and enable meaningful interactions.
  • Diverse Perspectives: Emphasizing content from speakers with varied backgrounds enhances the development of comprehensive solutions that serve all communities.

Session Formats

All submissions are for in-person speaking opportunities at the San Jose Convention Center. We do not support virtual presentations, as we aim to foster face-to-face interactions and networking.

  • Keynote Conversations (10-15 min): Dynamic discussions among experts or one-on-one interviews with high-profile individuals.
