Startups to Watch at Trellis Impact
Startups to Watch at Trellis Impact 25 is a fast-pitch competition featuring entrepreneurs with innovative technologies, products and services in carbon, energy, industry, transportation, and nature. Selected finalists will pitch in the breakout program to business, government and thought leaders with deep experience investing in and partnering with entrepreneurs.

Finalists receive a complimentary ticket to Trellis Impact 25 and will have the opportunity to connect with attendees during the in-person event.
Ongoing exposure
Beyond the live event, finalists will benefit from broad amplification via Trellis editorial coverage and published videos of the pitches.
Eligibility Criteria
Successful nominations must be:
- A startup developing a climate tech solution in carbon, energy, industry, transportation, or nature.
- At the Seed to Series A stage of funding.
- Incorporated and have a product or service ready for testing or deployment
- At least one full-time employee.
- Available to pitch in person at Trellis Impact 25 from October 28-30, 2025.
Timeline:
July 7 – August 3: Entrepreneurs submit applications, including a one-minute pitch video.
September 3 – September 17: Community voting on “25 Climate Tech Startups to Watch” feature on Trellis.net of the 5 Finalists in each category.
Late September: Finalists announced!
October 28-30: The pitch sessions will take place at Trellis Impact 25.
Note: Startups to Watch Finalists receive a comp ticket to TI25 and are responsible for their travel and stay. Startups to Watch winners are determined by the most audience votes in the event app.
