Carpet Industry Sustainability Report 2000

This report presents the results of a survey of the environmental policies and goals of 15 major carpet manufacturers and a number of their suppliers, conducted by the Carpet and Rug Institute. It offers a summary of industry environmental goals, including: reduction of water usage, energy consumption, air emissions, and waste. Also find a summary of best practices for each environmental goal. The report briefly addresses programs to improve employee safety.
