CH2M HILL and Nike Eco-Efficiency Through Supply Chain Metrics

Since 1997, CH2M HILL has been working with Nike to define environmental impacts and to find ways toward cleaner production systems and reductions in the amount of raw materials used.

As part of Nike’s Sustainability Initiative, CH2M HILL has worked with Nike’s large and diverse supply chain on issues such as the reduction of solid waste and hazardous chemicals and sustainable product design and manufacturing, as well as product life-cycle activities. As Nike’s supply chain includes more than 750 direct contractors, this presents a huge opportunity to improve both the natural and human environment.
