DaimlerChrysler Introduction of Fuel Cell Buses for Operation in Ten European Cities
Ten European cities are taking part in a test program scheduled to last two years in which DaimlerChrysler subsidiary EvoBus is providing thirty fuel cell buses to test their performance under regular service conditions. The program is an effort to develop public transit technologies that could reap enormous benefits in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and could prove to be an excellent market test for a new product.
