A Decade of Energy Star Buildings
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star program celebrates its 10th anniversary with this report on its achievements.
The program that started with a single Energy Star building in 1999 now counts almost 9,000 in its portfolio and has specific parameters for 13 types of structures, including retail stores, hotels, schools and supermarkets.
