Emissions Trading Reports
Since its inception in 1999, the Carbon Market Program — a joint project of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and the Earth Council Institute — has researched the impact of climate change on private-sector trade and investment in developing and transitional countries. The program’s Web site offers free reports, which can be downloaded in PDF format. These reports are organized by category, including rules and procedures for designing a GHG trading system as well as economic and legal issues associated with carbon markets. Also find profiles of emissions-trading efforts in developing countries, primarily in Eastern Europe.
