Environmental Management Systems in the Waste Management Value Chain: A Scoping Survey on Use and Trends

Based on a survey of 20 waste generators, transporters, and disposal companies that are members of the International Association of Environmental Cooperation, this report concludes that the majority of companies in waste management use an EMS of some form. It’s brief but offers insight into why waste-management companies should consider implementing ISO 14001 as their management system.
