Forging New Links

This GEMI report, released in June 2004, reviews the opportunities for EH&S to create business value in the supply chain across a variety of industries. Supply-chain management, says GEMI, is “the integration of key business processes from end user through original suppliers, which provides products, services, and information that add value for customers and other stakeholders.” The report is illustrated by case studies drawn from GEMI member companies, including Motorola, 3M, Eastman Kodak, and Intel.
