The UN’s fourth Global Environment Outlook examines the current state of the global atmosphere, land, water and biodiversity. It describes changes since 1987, identifies
priorities for action, and recognizes both where progress has been made and where problems still exist.
The report was prepared by about 390 experts and reviewed by more than 1,000 others worldwide.
