Why are sustainability pros optimistic in the face of growing competition? This report by the New York Green Research charts responses from more than 1,500 professionals in 69 countries.

The company says its research represents the first global survey of sustainability and corporate social responsibility consultants, and illustrates the growth in the field in recent years.

Forty percent told researchers the entered the industry less than three years ago.
