Luminaire Dirt Depreciation Study

A three-year building lighting study found that building owners can save up to 10% of lighting costs simply by cleaning lighting fixtures. This project took scientific measurements of available light over the past three years to determine the benefits — improved lighting as well as reduced costs — of simple periodic cleaning of the lighting fixtures.
