Taken together, the 25 plant-wide assessments document nearly $107 million in annual energy savings — an average of $4.27 million in annual savings at each plant. The estimated annual savings ranged from a low of $75,000 at a small chemical plant to a high of $52 million at a large refinery. View the case studies — most of which were published in 2003 — online.
