Principles for Responsible Investment 2007 Report on Progress

This first-of-its-kind survey of global financial giants was conducted as a joint project of the UNEP’s Financial Initiative and the U.N. Global Compact to gauge how investors are integrating environmental, social and governance issues into their daily practices.

The survey found that 88 percent of investment managers have begun engaging shareholders on ESG issues, and 82 percent of asset owners are doing the same. The report details the findings of the survey and goes on to provide guidance on leading practices, first steps and implementation of the Principles in general.
