Responsible Care Progress Report 2000

Launched by the American Chemistry Council in 1988, the Responsible Care initiative aims to “support a continuing effort to improve the industry’s responsible management of chemicals.” The report introduces the guiding principles of Responsible Care, which is a requirement of ACC members. It also offers an overview of the council’s environmental performance in energy efficiency, employee health and safety, sustainable development, and more.
