U.K. Climate Change Program: Annual Report to Parliament, July 2008
This report from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs details the United Kingdom’s progress on meeting its Kyoto Treaty emissions reduction goals.
Data for emissions is offered, including the estimate the U.K. will nearly double its 2012 greenhouse gas emissions reduction goal. It may, however, fall short of its goal of reducing carbon dioxide emissions 20 percent below 1990 levels. By 2020, carbon dioxide emissions are estimate to rin in at about 26 percent below 1990 levels.
