Urban Environment: Challenges to Sustainability

Published in June 2006, this online special report focuses on urban development and environmental issues facing the world today.

The report includes international input on current development practices and concerns, with expert views from the public, private, and civil society sectors. It also includes collections of documents and Web links relating to human and environmental management issues in the world’s rapidly growing cities and towns.
