Forest ecosystems are complex and constantly in flux. Tools to monitor and assess the impact of forest carbon projects are rapidly evolving to more accurately track these complex systems. This session will review the latest forest carbon monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) solutions from dynamic baselines to satellite imagery and ground-truthing scans from the forest floor. Carbon buyers will also share how they are incorporating data insights from the latest MRV tools into their carbon strategies.
