About the session

What’s covered

Hosted by the Nature Tech Collective: Nature sustains livelihoods and economies, reduces risk to people and infrastructure and helps us to adapt to climate change. Nature and the ecosystem services provided constitute an asset for people and the economy. However, nature is also at risk and can suffer severe damage from hurricanes, fires, droughts, oil spills, and other natural and anthropogenic events. Transferring the risk of restoring the damages to nature is a sound financial strategy for the beneficiaries and entities responsible for the natural asset.

This invite-only event brings together insurers, brokers, bankers, government agencies, environmental organizations, risk scientists, tech, and data providers in person to discuss insights and lessons learned from insuring natural assets, including reefs, ecological forests, regenerative cropland, and more. Learn about strategies for assessing, designing, developing, and managing insurance for natural assets.
