Public EV Charging Workshop: A Pivotal Moment for Action
What’s covered
The public EV charging industry, specifically direct current fast charging, continues to go through a transformational period. Recent notable developments such as the automotive industry’s shift to Tesla’s North American Charging Standard, the rollout of the Federal National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program and industry consolidation are all driving changes to the EV charging industry.
At VERGE 22, 50 leaders from the EV charging industry convened for an exclusive workshop aimed at enhancing the public charging experience in the U.S. Participants included automakers, federal government officials, charging providers and utilities, all collaborating to devise strategies for improving EV charging uptime, accessibility and the user experience. Now, in partnership with the ICF Climate Center and CharIN, we are hosting this workshop once again to review progress made, address new emerging challenges and continue to accelerate the industry forward.
