This workshop will start with a presentation covering recent climate-related legislative, regulatory and judicial developments, along with analysis and implications for businesses and government. Topics covered will include:
- California’s carbon disclosure and risk disclosure bills
- Legislation regulating greenwashing with respect to voluntary carbon credit market
- How to cut through the “green tape” to accelerate permitting green energy projects under the Inflation Reduction Act, the $1.2 trillion Infrastructure and Jobs Act
- Implications of the Supreme Court’s decision overturn the Chevron deference doctrine.
Following the presentation, a panel of practitioners will discuss how they are meeting this regulatory moment.
