Game Play with Extinction Rebellion SFBay Street Theater Group

As we all struggle with anxiety, despair, and grief over the biggest crisis of our time, we come together to utilize play as an outlet of humor and comic relief. Join us on Tuesday evening in a silly and provocative yet reimagined game of Monopoly that challenges the status quo and brings hope and encouragement to the important work we are all doing to turn the climate titanic around.

Extinction Rebellion S.F. Bay is the local chapter of an international organization shedding light on the climate crisis and working to change business and government policy towards a green future. Our street theater working group includes the Lamentors, Absurdists, puppeteers, Xtractors and more. We have performed at conferences such as the American Geophysical Union (AGU) at the Moscone Center; at public meetings such as the California Air Resources Board (CARB); at public venues like the SF Ferry Building Farmers’ Market; and at protests like the Summer of Heat actions throughout the nation this summer.
