Adrian is the co-founder and Executive Director of Out in Climate, a nonprofit network connecting and elevating LGBTQ+ professionals advancing climate solutions. He also founded the Queer Decarbonization Summit, a retreat-conference convening LGBTQ+ climate leaders in nature-rich settings for deep connection, collaboration, and joy.
Previously, Adrian worked on decarbonization through energy efficiency and carbon removal at the startups Carbon Lighthouse and Carbon Direct, where he helped mitigate over 100,000 tonnes of CO₂e. He also taught building decarbonization as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University.
Adrian lives in New York City and spends his free time playing piano, tennis, and basketball; mixing craft cocktails; doing yoga; and zipping through the city on his e-bike.
