REEF (Refrigerant Emissions Elimination Forum)
Aleisha leads a non-profit driving market transformation away from hydrofluorocarbons – the super pollutant gas found in most cooling and heat pump technology around the world. REEF focuses on building owners and their architects and engineers, providing education and support for technology and practices that contribute to their decarbonization goals, alongside cost savings and regulatory compliance.
Over the past 25 years, Aleisha’s work on building energy efficiency and climate includes designing and running programs and research for state agencies, utilities, and federal agencies as well as the World Bank. Aleisha was most recently the Senior Climate Advisor at RTI International, a nonprofit research institute, where she connected international development projects with technology commercialization and research.
Aleisha has a master’s in resource economics and policy from Duke University, and a master’s and bachelor’s in architecture from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
