Alex Choy

Alex leads the CommonSpirit Health’s Community Investment Program, an impact-first investment program that invests to address the social determinants of health. He has over 10 years of impact investment experience both internationally and domestically. Prior to his work at CommonSpirit Health, Alex worked at a small family office and the United States Development Finance Corporation, the United States Government’s development finance institute, focused on climate resiliency, regenerative agriculture, real estate, housing, and financial inclusion. Alex also served as a health and community development volunteer in The Republic of The Gambia. He holds a M.A. in International Economics from American University and a B.A. in International Economics from UC Berkeley.
