Alua Suleimenova is a Senior Program and Staff Manager at Marvell Technology, where she leads the company’s global sustainability program, spanning climate strategy, water stewardship, and sustainability reporting across Marvell’s worldwide operations, supply chain, and product portfolio. In her current role, Alua led Marvell’s science‑based target development and climate action plan; enterprise‑wide climate and water risk assessments; product life cycle assessments; and the creation of Marvell’s Sustainability Reports. She spearheaded supplier and customer sustainability engagement initiatives and represents Marvell in key industry groups including the Semiconductor Climate Consortium and the Responsible Business Alliance. She also serves as a lead within SEMI and the Semiconductor Climate Consortium’s Environmental Risk Mitigation and Reporting Working Group. Prior to joining Marvell, Alua held technical and sustainability leadership roles at WSP, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the United Nations Global Compact, HeidelbergCement, and the Max Planck Institute for Organic Biogeochemistry. Alua is driven by the challenge of addressing complex climate-, water-, and nature‑related risks at scale and embedding sustainability across the value chain to build more responsible and resilient operations. With experience across the technology sector, international development, consulting, and applied research, she brings a multidisciplinary approach, strategic insight, and collaborative mindset to influence corporate sustainability agendas. She lived and worked in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Singapore, and she is currently based in California.
