Alysia Garmulewicz

Alysia is Co-CEO and Founder of Materiom, a platform providing open data and AI to accelerate the development of bio-based materials. Alysia specializes in circular economy business innovation, and data-driven approaches for bio-based materials R&D. She works with leading research labs to leverage scientific advances for impact through Materiom’s products. She is also an Associate Professor of the circular economy at the Adolfo Ibáñez University (UAI), Chile, and an Associate Fellow at the CABDyN Complexity Centre, Saïd Business School, at the University of Oxford. Alysia publishes in leading journals in data science and sustainability and is a regional co-chair of the Research Data Alliance. Alysia is a Rhodes Scholar and has a Doctorate from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
