Prior to Walmart, she spent almost 15 years across consulting firms and agencies working with a cross section of corporate and nonprofit organizations on sustainability strategy and communication efforts across apparel, fashion, consumer goods, financial services, retail and more. A serial dot connector, Aman is a journalist by training — including stints at The Wall Street Journal, CSRwire, Forbes, CNBC and The Guardian — and a communicator by trade. A nerd by choice, she takes pride in connecting complex issues like climate change, waste and regenerative agriculture with business growth, product development and storytelling. Her optimism highs come from watching her kids question things like why do people litter and why can’t we fix climate change – and the sass they offer when she offers patience as a virtue.
